Since joining Lincoln in 1983, Marilee has fulfilled many roles, from local to national levels. As Business Operations Manager, she is responsible for the overall operations of Lincoln in the Pacific NW, overseeing financial planners in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Her specialties include:
Providing Compliance training and support, to include audits and supervisory activities,
Directing activities of staff to ensure outstanding service and performance levels are met for the region, including providing Human Resources assistance for the hiring, onboarding, and training of planners’ assistants,
Assisting financial planners with the implementation of their business succession plans,
Managing operational tasks required to have a well-run OSJ.
Before becoming a Registered Principal and overseeing operations in 1999, Marilee was a wholesaler for Lincoln’s Small Group Health, Dental, Life, Disability, and Long-Term-Care insurance products. She qualified for Lincoln’s President’s Club from 1989 to 1994, and again in 1999. She has been honored with several awards: Lincoln’s highest award for the Kudos Program, the Encore Award in 2008, and the Bravo Award in 2014. At the regional level, she was awarded the Service Legend Award in 2003, and the Daniel E. Fenker Award in 2002 at the local level.
Marilee and her husband Mike love to travel. They are also enthusiastic Oregon State Beavers football fans, and can be seen at all home and some away games. Mike also plays the drums in a rock band. When not traveling, camping, and going to gigs, they enjoy spending time at home with Ringo, their Australian Shepherd, gardening, cooking and reading. Their daughter Rachel and her husband Ryan live in New York City.
