Carolyn began her career with CIGNA Financial Advisors in San Diego in 1986 as a planner assistant. In 1994, she was promoted to Compliance Manager for the CIGNA Southern California Mega Region, overseeing compliance and licensing for four large planning offices. She held the position through the Lincoln acquisition in 1998. With the breakup of the Southern California region in 2000, Carolyn became the Operations Manager in San Diego responsible for finance, compliance, HR, operations and licensing. In 2005, she was named the Business Operations Manager for the San Diego RPO. She is a FINRA registered principal.
Carolyn is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in geology. (Her daughter, Michaela, currently attends UCSB as well.) Carolyn enjoys reading, hiking, watching her daughter play lacrosse for UCSB and volunteering for the Humane Society. She lives in San Diego with her two college age children, Michaela and Connor.
